I ran across a blog post from fellow Pluralsight author Troy Hunt (Twitter), on how Extended Validation SSL certificates are dying a slow death, thanks to the way major browser manufacturers are displaying SSL information. If you’re responsible for SSL certs in your organization, it’s worth the 10 minutes to read it. Also, consider services like Let’s Encrypt for your SSL needs.
